blue man and cold heart ( for illo fri "cold")
Will submit for Illo Friday theme "cold" The "man" pic is about drug addiction and I know nothing colder than that. It is my Father.
I just did add the pic of the heart...both of these are from when I was using vectors ...textured ones ...the heart is digital paint, photo manip, and vectors.
It it titled "cold heart" And probably would have been a better first choice, but I like both of these for this theme.

I like the dark cold feel of the blue color in the first illo. The contrast between the red heart and the cold blue is excellent.

These are so steely, icy cold...harsh and remote! I love the encapsulated heart...there's so much cold around it that it would take forever to chip it away! I hesitate to comment too much on the man, knowing what it depicts...but it seems to emit feelings of coldness, both from the subject and the artist. It's chiiling. Excellent work, Becky!
